Saturday:
open practice until 10:15 am
10:30 am drivers meeting
heats begin 11:30 am
open practice after heats

controlled practice from 8:00 to 8:50 am
9:00 am drivers meeting
mains begin 9:30 am

Best 6 Races 

The way throw outs work is too is use a throw out at a particular track you have to race at least one race at that track , if you attend one race at that track you can throw two races at that track , you could throw out all three if you attended two  races at that track , if you attend only six that's your six scores , DQ is zero and must be counted in the six scores , YOU CAN NOT USE A THROW OUT AT A TRACK YOU DID NOT RACE AT  this was done so you can't boycott one track.
 


At Points Race #9 Boulder City NV. Entries Will paid out of the QsacWest Treasury ( this is for the classes you normally enter ! )

Also we will be collecting for the Banquet to held at the first or second points race of 2009. It will be on Saturday after the days racing activates.

QsacWest will be awarding trophies for class winners and jackets to first place finishers in each class .
The Sign Art Award 2008 ( "For those that give that little extra" ) will be presented

2008  QSACWEST RULES ADDENDUM

1) 5 MINUTE RULE FOR ANYONE UNTIL THE RACE STARTS. ONCE GREEN FLAG COMES OUT NO MORE TIME FOR ANYONE, EVEN IF THE RACE HAS TO BE RESTARTED AGAIN. (ONCE PER PERSON)

2) THE NUMBER OF CARS IN THE A-MAIN HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM 10 TO 12 CARS/ TRUCKS

3) ALL  CARS WILL BE REQUIRED TO RUN A RESTRICTOR PLATE 8.5 FOR SPORTSMAN / NOVICE , 10.5 FOR ALL OTHERS NO MATTER WHICH QSAC LEGAL CARB. YOU USE.

4) PIT STOPS: CAN BE MADE AT ANYTIME OTHER THAN DURING RED FLAG. WHEN PIT STOP IS MADE UNDER A YELLOW FLAG, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAG THE REAR OF THE FIELD WHEN YOU RETURN TO THE TRACK. THE RACE WILL NOT BE HELD FOR THOSE WORKING ON THEIR CARS.

5) OPEN WHEEL CLASS WILL RETAIN THE RULES THAT HAVE BEEN IN USE.

ADDITIONAL CHANGES:

1) THE 2008 RACING SEASON WILL HAVE 9 POINTS RACES WITH  BEST 6 COUNTING One throughout Per Track unless you attend more than one race at a particular track 

2) TOP QUALIFIER POINTS AS A TIE BREAKER IF NEEDED
